Golden Valley Silver Water (GVSW) is the last advance in a long progression
of medicinal efforts.
The earliest reference to the therapeutic properties of silver is found in
Herodotus, Book One, paragraph 188. Cyrus the Great is there described as
supplying his troops with boiled water from the Coaspes River in silver containers,
so as to avoid pestilence, that was more more than 2500 years ago.
Today we eat using silverware , even though eating utensils are
hardly ever made of silver any more. On wedding anniversaries we give silver
goblets and plates, but the reason for such custom is long lost. 150 years
ago pioneers put silver coins into barrels of water tied to covered wagons
to preserve freshness. But it wasn't until about 100 years ago that America
's medical community began to seriously pursue silver's known antibiotic qualities.
Early efforts were crude and dangerous.
In the earliest such efforts silver was ground into as fine a powder as possible
and stirred into water, to be then ingested or applied topically. Drinking
enough of such a brew could and did produce a condition known as Argyria,
where the body migrates the silver particles to the skin surface producing
a permanent all-over blue-gray tattoo. Some individuals are known to have
done this deliberately, in order to get a job at a circus.
Major progress was achieved in the 1920's when electro-colloidal silver was
first produced. (the word colloidal describes a very fine suspension of particles,
as opposed to a solution, in water.) This step virtually eliminated the danger
of Argyria except in unusual circumstances. Electro-Colloidal Silver became
the main antibiotic in modern medicine's arsenal till the advent of Penicillin
in the 1940's.
Interest in “ Colloidal Silver ” revived within the Alternate Health
Community in the early 1990's in part due to the emergence of strains of microbes
resistant to so-called “Wonder Drugs.” But the help provided by colloidal
silver was mixed. Available products were and are relatively expensive,
vary in quality, and all have limited shelf-life.
That's where Golden Valley Silver Water came in,
in late 1996. In a highly proprietary method GVSW is made as a solution
of Silver in water not a suspension. Other differences abound:
Compared to Colloidal Silver, GVSW therapeutic effects
are more immediate, and more pronounced.
All silver particles in GVSW are dissolved in the
ultra-pure water base, and carry a negative electrical charge. There are
no positively charged particles whatsoever.
Particle size is much smaller than
in Colloidal Silver. All silver particles are of a uniform 7 Angstrom
size. They exist in a mutually repellent state forming a Magnetized
Matrix within
an ultra-pure water base.
Since the silver is dissolved, settling cannot occur,
and shaking before use is never required.
Because particle size is so extremely small, silver concentration
by mass is much lower than in “Colloidal Silver,” i.e., 10 to 30 parts
per Billion ,
compared to 4 to 800 parts per Million commonly reported in conventional “Colloidal
Silver.”
Interestingly, the number of silver particles contained
in a given volume of water remains about the same.
Unlike “Colloidal Silver,” GVSW has an indefinite
shelf life, meaning that GVSW does not lose potency over time.
GVSW is not affected by sunlight or temperature.
